Shoe Care
The leather used in Mariana shoes in Vegetable Tanned. Very little top finish is used in the tanning process. The color is dyed in a vat or drum to give the beautiful depth of color.
During wear the leather can get scratched which moves the Vegetable Oil away from the surface of the skin. Just like human skin and I recommend the same approach when your skin gets dry....hand lotion. It will clean the shoe while putting moisture back in the leather. Lighter shoes will darken at first but will return to color when dry.
Then use a soft cloth and buff the shoe it will return to the original luster.

If you any specific shoe care issue just email me at hwhitley@golcshoes.com.
